In addition to discussion of traditional yogic concepts, we deconstruct the modern yoga culture, yoga biz, teaching variations for different body types and abilities, and building classes concentrating on safe sequencing, hands-on assists and adjustments and more. 

As Level 2 AcroYogis, #notbasictt brings the wisdom of AcroYoga concepts woven through the style of teaching making it unique. Foundations and progressions are key to a complete yoga practice.

You will leave with a thorough education on how to teach Hatha Yoga, AcroYoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Meditation & Pranayama.

  • Asana (Both Yin & Yang)
  •  History of Yoga (broad outline of many traditions, detailed examination of the history of Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga)
  •  Pranayama & Meditation
  •  Kriyas

  •  Physical Anatomy & Subtle Anatomy
  •  Teaching (physical assists/adjustments of primary Series Asanas, verbalization and cueing, special cases, and the “Seat of the Teacher”)

  •  Mantra and Chanting,Yoga Philosophy and Sutra Studies
  •  Ethics & Business of Yoga
    • Must maintain personal practice and complete all reading, writing, and research assignments.
    Personal Practice- Students will be required to keep a practice log and/or journal of Sadhana
    Technique- (25hrs) Evaluate 8 Yoga Classes
    Practicum- (5hrs) Assists in 4 Yoga Classes
    Teaching Methodology- (15hrs) Research Paper & Presentation
    Anatomy & Physiology- (10hrs) Reading and Written Homework

    Training hours: 
    Saturdays 9:30am to 6pm

    *These hours and dates might change slightly & fieldtrips will be scheduled as well.
      All the sessions have your necessary contact hours that meet Yoga Alliance Requirements which include lectures, a yoga practice, practice teaching, adjustments and more! You are required to practice at least 2-3 times a week and all your classes are included in the price of the training.

      Homework? YUP! Self-study is necessary as it's a vital part of your growth and only makes you a better practitioner and teacher. The training is very complete and flexible with an online portion and some group calls to make it easy on your time and flexible. We go beyond the 200 hours with all the knowledge and support given.

      6. Avoid words and actions that constitute sexual harassment.
      7. Adhere to the traditional yoga principles as written in the Yamas and Niyamas.
      8. Follow all local government and national laws that pertain to my yoga teaching and business.

      Arianne's goal is simple: help people achieve their physical and spiritual goals with a lighthearted approach. With over 13 years experience teaching as a 500hr ERYT Yoga, AcroYoga instructor, Health & Business Coach, Arianne focuses on the healing aspects of yoga to unleash your unlocked potentials in the body & mind, meditation & connecting within. 

      A savvy entrepreneur, she's the creator of Bizzy Yogi Academy, a platform for yoga teachers to increase their business & marketing knowledge and the creator of Not Basic Yoga teacher trainings.

      Through teacher trainings, international yoga retreats, she changes lives for the your desired outcome. 

      She was co-founder of TRIO Studios based in Miami and is the owner of The Yoga Expo Ft. Lauderdale.

      The broad horizon of her experience infuses her classes with fun and a sense that one can achieve anything. Arianne's expertise in Yoga, Acrobatics and Thai Massage helps students to build their own well-balanced understanding of the practice through the use of clear, technical teaching skills, compassionate adjustments, breath connection and intuitive body awareness.
      Alina Flor grew up in Navarre, Florida. Her mother first introduced her to yoga at the age of 15. After the first yoga class, she knew that this was her calling and has been practicing for 16 years and teaching for 9 years.
      Her formal education is in Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound. Registered as a RDCS, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Alina is currently working part-time in the medical field. 

      Alina completed The Barkan Hot Yoga Teacher Training and the Hot Vinyasa Teacher Training and has been dedicated to her teaching Since 2006. Thai Yoga Bodywork and Acroyoga have become a healthy addition to her practice in 2009. Following the Acroyoga path, she was certified to teach Acroyoga in 2014, AcroYoga Level 2 certified in October 2015 and an AcroYoga Elemental Immersion teacher. As her AcroYoga Journey continues she learns something new from every student. She is thankful to those who have lead her along this wonderful and healing path of "metta" Love and Kindness!!
